How to get around a paywall?
First, you need to know that cheating a paywall is illegal in most countries. Newspapers have to make money to pay for good journalism. However, if you browse many different newspapers on a regular basis you would have to be rather wealthy to afford all those subscriptions. So - if you still want to bypass a paywall there are several possibilities:
Check out your local community library! Many have online-reading rooms with free-to-use subscriptions of important newspapers.
University libraries are also a good choice for subscription-free online reading! Usually it is not too difficult to get access to these libraries.
When you are reading from home, you may want to install 'Bypass Paywalls', a web browser extension to help bypass paywalls for selected sites.
Available both for Chrome and Firefox. There are instructions on the web. You can find the extension here.
Try using the 'incognito' or 'private browsing' window of your browser.
Try using a VPN, such as you can find in the TOR browser.
Try cleaning your browser's history, cache and cookies.
All of this may, or may NOT work - depending on how sophisticated the paywall is implemented.
